Intro

Facebook’s travel advertising tools were powerful, but the surrounding communication often felt overly technical. “The Trip Starts Here” reframed the platform around emotional storytelling instead of advertising mechanics.

My Role

Freelance art director and graphic designer leading layouts, infographics, presentation systems, and campaign storytelling.

Mission

To show travel brands, influencers, and agencies how video ads could expand their reach, build stronger brands, and inspire more bookings—all while making the process approachable and empowering.

Process

The visual language leaned editorial rather than corporate. Large-format imagery, modular grids, restrained typography, and simplified infographic systems helped strategy content feel more approachable and easier to navigate. Travel imagery focused on movement and lived experience rather than generic tourism photography.


Why It Mattered

Travel marketing is ultimately about imagination. The project helped reposition Facebook’s video tools as storytelling infrastructure capable of creating emotional connection at scale.
